The Avon CBRNF12 filter canister meets the relevant criteria specified in the new NIOSH CBRN APR standard at the 15-minute classification level (Cap 1). It provides effective protection against all the gaseous agents specified in the NIOSH standard, as well as excellent performance against a wider range of both chemical warfare agents and Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICs). A particulate filter element exceeding the requirements of NIOSH 42CFR84 P100 level is incorporated, ensuring effective performance against all dusts, mists, fumes, biological agents (bacteria, virus, fungal spores etc), including radioactive dusts. CBRNF12 is currently certified by NIOSH as a CBRN Cap1 APR filter for use with the CBRN FM12 mask under TC-14G-0275.
The Avon CTF12 Filter Canister is a combination filter containing a co-pleated glass fibre/ polypropylene netting element for the removal of aerosols, particulate matter and smoke, and a carbon bed for the removal of vapours that may be released by the trapped particles. It is specifically designed for the removal of riot control agents and tear gases including CS, CN and OC pepper spray.
The NH15 Emergency Hood is designed specifically for users in an emergency incident. The world's smallest NIOSH CBRN escape device is rated for 15 minutes and is available in regular and extra small sizes. Does not require maintenance or fit testing and is designed for 5 years shelf life (unopened). Supplied in a black carrier that can be belt or shoulder mounted.
